Adult Life #01 [EN]

OMG,  what a day!

So, yesterday I was supposed to work, however they asked me to swap for tonight... ok... fair enough, I have nothing better to do with my life anyway... [well, I did, I was meant to be going to see the ocean with a friend with social distancing!... I'm missing my sea terribly but I didn't refused the chance...].

I had finished from a night shift in the morning and I had slept all day, till roughly about 6 pm, so I was really not ready to go back to bed early...

Texted my friend I said, look and if I drive to you and we get lost in the city for a while....

Well, it seemed like a good plan...

It took me about 90 minutes to leave the flat...

After drying my hair and a few layers of makeup I was ready to go! I was feeling amazing I must confess, I felt just like a little princess and nobody could stop me...

For the very first time in ages I done a full face makeup, my foundation was missing me ahah... the lipstick is from NYX Cosmetics and I will talk about it in a few days, I promise!

So looking like a china doll I left the flat, got Missy, (the lady from Google Maps) telling me the way... off course I decided to go against her instructions a couple of times but let's not think about that, no point! From Wallington - Hackbridge - Mitcham - Tooting - ...

Till I got between (what I believe it was) Stockwell and Elephant and Castle... there I was... stopped in a traffic light, but not parked, almost ready to go because I thought that the light was soon going to turn green... I just hear a BOOOM and my car moves a bit towards the car in front...

When I finally understood that the car behind me had kissed my car's ass, I just moved my car towards the side line, I got out of the car shaking, I was fine, I didn't knocked in the car in front of me, great... This social distance is working in my favour ahah! Looked at the lady walking towards me, she seemed she was fine, I was a bit shocked, this never happened to me...

We went to check both cars, mine was fine (WOW) but hers was not as lucky... she hugged me... I was shaking but I was fine, we were both fine, nothing else mattered, her car was going to survive... great...

I returned to my car and I carry on, as soon as I found a good and secure place to park again I parked, got myself in control again, and I stopped shaking... This was not going to stop me!

Soon I was on top of Tower Bridge, the most beautiful bridge in London for me... I felt amazing, a year ago I wouldn't drive to save my life, and there I was alone, driving in Tower Bridge, during the night and raining...

OMG

#

the lights, the colours, the buildings...

#

that was London, the city called for me so long ago, I fell in love, and just as true love you never forget a love like this!

#

London is my home, one of my biggest loves!

I got myself near my friend's house around 11 pm, because was  heavily raining and I didn't had dinner before leaving the house  I had a nice cup of tea and a plate of curry waiting for me... was really nice...

Got back was 4-ish am and I end up laughing of all this situation, what was really nice.

I felt so much stronger, so much powerful, so proud of my life path and completely in love for this amazing city that opened her arms for me so long ago!

We end up not going anywhere because the rain didn't allowed us to, but was nice to catch up, and try such authentic curries. I had completely forgot that my birthday was not long ago, I had a nice Birthday gift waiting for me, because I had left the blog for a while and my laptop was killing my nerves, I had a tiny laptop waiting for me "Now you don't have an excuse, you can do it from anywhere, the laptop will fit in your handbag... you must go back and work hard!"

Well, in a city like this, with such amazing friends I feel very blessed... I have a great life... and nothing can change that!

Thank you!
